The unique shape of a real VOX guitar from the 1960s
The amp section and rhythm machine integrate VOX’s amp technology
Tectonic audio wide – directional speaker and passive radiator
Isolation mounting of the speaker suppresses feedback
The APC-1 is a distinctive speaker-equipped guitar that echoes the iconic shape of VOX guitars from the 1960s. It features an analog circuit amp utilizing VOX’s extensive amp-making technology and a rhythm machine employing VOX MINI GO, the digital modeling amp. This guitar, a culmination of VOX’s expertise and past product know-how, comes fully equipped with all the functions needed for sound production. With no need for an additional amp or effects, it can be played standalone and is suitable for various settings like the living room, outdoors, or as a travel guitar.

Adoption of a Wide-Directional Speaker
The guitar incorporates Tectonic Audio’s wide-directional speakers, allowing players to hear sound even when not directly in front of the speakers. This feature makes it exceptionally suitable for guitarists. Addressing previous weaknesses in guitars with speakers, such as”insufficient bass” and “easy feedback,” a newly designed enclosure with a passive radiator enhances the sound quality significantly. The seismically isolated speaker unit also minimizes feedback, overcoming a common drawback in speaker-equipped guitars. Truly, it represents the next generation of speaker-equipped guitars.
Effectors and Rhythm Machines
The APC-1 includes various effects like chorus, tremolo, delay, and reverb. The delay andreverb also feature tap tempo functions. The rhythm machine provides 11 genres, includinga metronome, with each genre offering 3 variations, totaling 33 built-in rhythm patterns.
