We at CanPlayMusic are deeply saddened by the loss of two iconic and respected rock musicians this week: Ace Frehley of KISS and Sam Rivers of Limp Bizkit.
Ace Frehley, the legendary "Spaceman" and founding guitarist of KISS, passed away at age 74 following complications from a fall that led to a brain bleed. His influence on rock music and guitarists around the world is immeasurable. [yahoo.com]
Sam Rivers, the talented bassist and co-founder of Limp Bizkit, died at just 48 years old. While the cause of death has not been officially disclosed, he had previously battled serious health issues, including liver disease.
