Go behind the scenes as KORG and Grammy & Emmy Award-winning pianist, composer, and producer Robert Glasper create Glasper's Grand & EP (EXs43) for KRONOS.
In this video, Robert shares why he wanted to capture the sound and feel of his favorite grand piano and electric piano, while the KORG team takes you inside the recording, sampling, and sound design process at the legendary Chaplin Recording Studios in Los Angeles (formerly Henson Studios).
Created in close collaboration with Robert Glasper, Glasper's Grand & EP (EXs43) gives KRONOS players access to the instruments and expressive character behind the sounds Robert crafted for his own performances.
EXs43 includes:
• Approximately 2 GB of grand piano samples
• Two SGX-2 piano types: Glasper German D and Glasper German D (Equal Temperament)
• 16 Programs in total, including 7 grand piano and 9 electric piano Programs
• Available as a free download through the KORG Sound Library
Released alongside EXs43, KRONOS System Updater v3.2.3 is a free update for all KRONOS (1/X/2/3) users that adds the new Tine EP VIII model to the EP-1 engine.
