Here's the deal:
➡️ You take a clean recording (like guitar, vocals, or synths)
➡️ Send it back out through an amp or speaker
➡️ Then record it again with a mic in front of the speaker
Why?
To add color, grit, character — whatever the track needs. You’re literally shaping the sound by letting it live in the real world for a moment. Bonus: If it’s a guitar amp, then yep — the speaker is the instrument. And that mic in front? It’s just doing its job.
